How to Remove the MPD/MPDC Error When iPodLinux Starts
Mpd and Mpdc are music and video playing modules for ipod linux. Unfortunately, they do not always work on ipod videos. With Apple OS and Rockbox, you don’t really need it. follow the short list below to remove the pointless function
- Go to your ipod root and open the folder “iplconfig” then go to “modules_disable.txt” and open it with notepad
- Type the following:
mpd
mpdc - Make sure you pushed enter so that each is on its own line
- Save the changes and exit.
- Reboot your iPod and open iPodLinux to test. When it is loading, you shouldn’t get the MPD/MPDC error anymore.
How to uninstall iPodLinux
Just go into your iPod root and delete the folders related to iPodwizard. MAKE SURE NOT TO DELETE ANY OTHER you might delete precious information
The folders to delete are
userland, sbin, proc, iplconfig, etc, dev, and linux.bin
and thats it!
