[...] First you need to know whether you have a 5G iPod, or a 5.5G iPod. [...]
why can’t you hack an iPod Classic? i want to do something with mine, at least change the interface. if anyone knows how then please e-mail me:
why cant you hack the 3 generation
Thankyou, I never knew this, much appreciated.
I have an aipod “classic” i think, its 120 gb, and it plays video…
i have the search option and software 2.0.1
any ideas if i can try this without bricking my ipod. i could do with some cautious but helpful advice.
i would buy the games if i could but i have over 12 years of music on my ipod from cds i dont have anymore but ripped while i did, some were stolen, others lost others thrown away and others damaged, i’d say i have only got 3-7% of my original cd’s..Also of the stuff on my ipod i probably only have 6-% of the mp3′s as i have had HD problems.
So i guess if i sign up for the store im either gonna get sued for the music I legally have a right to but no way to prove or ill loose whats there.
@ EdDread There’s no problem signing up for the store … Many people have their iPods filled with illegal music, Apple doesn’t check your iPod content; plus your content is legit. They like controlling stuff, but this would be way pass the limit. Don’t worry. Really.
Plus, if you lost your CDs and your iPod is your last copy of your music, you might wanna search for software or tutorials on how to copy back the music from the iPod to your computer. It will not make those CD come back, but hey if you lose or screw up your iPod you still have a copy.
